HDF & MDF MAterial Specs

HDF (High-Density Fiberboard) is an engineered wood product known for its strength and smooth surface. It's made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibers, then compressing them with resin and heat.

In house we use "Weyerhaeuser Glacier Green High Density Machining Grade MDF is custom formulated for demanding profiled finishing applications"

Our HDF (HDM) is a great, cost-effective option for your routed or slab, painted door and drawer front need.

MDF (Medium-Density Fiberboard) is made by a similar process, though not as dense in the core as HDF, is a great, cost-effective option for a 1/4" panel material in a paint grade 5- piece door.
