2. What This Warranty Covers

This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material and workmanship in the doors and related products manufactured by Panhandle Door, Inc. for the original purchaser. A "defect in material or workmanship" is defined as a flaw in the product that occurs during the manufacturing process and renders the product unusable or unfit for its normal, intended purpose. This includes:

-
Door Components:
-
Structural integrity of the door panel (e.g., warping, cracking, or splitting that exceeds industry-standard tolerances).
-
Adhesion of veneers or laminates.
-
-
Finishes:
-
Peeling, cracking, or blistering of our factory-applied finishes (if applicable). This excludes damage from improper handling, installation, or maintenance.
-
3. What This Warranty Does NOT Cover

This warranty does not cover damages or defects resulting from:
-
Improper Installation or Handling: Issues arising from improper installation, handling, storage, or finishing of the product. This includes, but is not limited to, failure to properly seal all six sides of the door (top, bottom, and all four edges) after receipt. Failure to seal properly can result in warped doors due to moisture absorption.
-
Normal Wear and Tear: Fading of finishes, scratches, scuffs, or other cosmetic changes that occur over time with normal use.
-
Improper Maintenance or Use: Damage caused by a failure to follow recommended care and maintenance instructions, or due to misuse, abuse, or neglect.
-
External Factors: Damage from external events, including, but not limited to, accidents, acts of God (e.g., fire, flood, earthquake), exposure to extreme heat, dryness, or humidity, or direct sunlight without adequate protection.
-
Modifications: Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or alterations to the product.
-
Third-Party Products: This warranty does not cover products or components not manufactured by Panhandle Door, Inc., even if they are sold or shipped with our products. This includes glass components or hardware from other manufacturers. We will assist you with any warranty claims you may have with the original manufacturer of such third-party products.
